Nanoo, Nanoo Beeyotch

So it's been, like, almost a month since I posted. Don't know who's looking, but then again that's not the point, is it?

Mother in-law's still in the nursing home; utility bills are a LOT less expensive sice she went away. I'm just saying. Nelson'S (the bro in-law) mom just ended up in the hospital this week after managing an open compound fracture of both here tibia & fibia just above the end of the bones. Kee-rist! My mom is still nuts & locked up in the V.A. nursing home, most likely giving the staff there hell. Haven't seen her in about 2 months, but I'm betting that can't last (the Mrs. likes to guilt me).

Still not back to work yet. Back is swollen at surgical site, OTC meds Dr. told me to use aren't cutting it. Hardly do anything but it still gives me grief.My biggest problem is when Dr. tries to imply that maybe I'm doing things I shouldn't, which is B.S..

Eventually (meaning by the end of the month) I'm just going to insist he let me go back to work or push for permanent disability. I'm so sick of the bills piling up.

First book sales still sluggish, but oddly still being bought in trickles. Stopped work on "mageOPS: The Hellpit Incursion" because another story came to me, and has been coming out of me very quickly. Title: "Famous Last Words". Story: Very nasty thriller. Due: hopefully, by end of year. Actually, just submitted a short plot treatment to bloodydisgusting to see if they're interested in screenplay. Truth be told, though, I'd want to direct it. I mean, God forbid Uwe Boll were connected to the film. It would die before it had a chance.

I do miss some of the folks from over at the Broken Lizard blog (which is dead now), especially Carrot (you out there, freak?). But I don't go to blogs anymore anyway, so I guess that's that.

Bubba, as always, getting bigger & stronger. Oh: he has a girlfriend in his daycare (Yasmin). Strokes her cheek & everything. Teachers think it's cute. I know what it really is: the little mother_______'s gonna pour her a Henessey & that'll be all she wrote. But no one listens to me.
