Waiting for the Monthly Rollover

End of June, July coming in less than 2 hours. Half of 2006 gone.

On the plus side, Ian will be 3. I can't wait to see what happens next.
I'm back in classes, not minding it at all. Got suckered into playing the bad intake person in a role-ply assignment on Thursday. Funny thing was people were more convinced by my performance than the good guy one. Many had comments like "I've had medical professionals talk like that to me!". Makes you wonder about the state of organized medicine. Now if only I can get the mess that is my application to the CUNY B.A. program straightened out...

Running this new Windows Vista O.S.. So far so good. The new dual-core desktop is something, let me tell you. Downloads like a bitch and can run multiple programs without visible lag. Finally, computers are catching up to my idea of computers.

On the minus, no new job as of yet. This is not good. I don't like being out of work. Unfortunately, my back's also giving me hell (having numbness in right arm now on occasion; on muscle relaxers until I see doc next week). I'm gonna have to figure out something to do at home & get paid for, and male prostitution is not an option. Thinking maybe medical billing. Will look into programs that defer cost.

Bubba, one of my neices (the older one)the Mrs. & I went to her agency's picnic today. Before we left, we removed the A/C unit from the bedroom & brought it to the garage with the intention of bring another, more powerful model we took down last year back up when when we returned home. After picnic, went to mall. In a nutshell, spent all day out. When came back, flash thunderstorm began. I got Bubba & the Mrs. inside then went to get A/C, as we would need regardless of storm as it is hot anyways. Wet, achy, etc. back to the house. That was 2 hours ago.

Tomorrow, we got to 4th of July party up in Conn., at house of same person whose mom just passed recently. Literally a week later. Huh.

That's it until after the weekend. See greeting attached to earlier message. Buh-bye.
