Blather, Rinse, Repeat

For whatever reason, Bubba's taken to chewing on the cord of the mouse lately. Before he electrocutes himself (which I'm sure he'd find tremendously funny) or causes a short in the computer I've replaced it with a cordless one that has an 'off' switch on the bottom as well. This is great, as I can shut the damn thing off when I want him to stop playing on NickJr.

Also got him a scooter this weekend and GoPaint, which is paintsticks which only work on 'magic' paper. Whatever; prevents him from redecorating without permission on the living room walls. My younger niece has a birthday today: got her a crystal turtle brooch. She loves turtles, which is why the brooch is of a turtle. Next week is the older niece's birthday (if I didn't know them I'd swear it was a scam). She's getting a Prada iPod case for her Nano. If you think that's extravagant, don't: I originally got it for the Mrs. new iPod -the 30GB Video one- but seller didn't tell me it was only for Nano or Mini. So, instead of going through the hassle and expense of returning it we'll give it to her. I'm sure her mates in high school will be soooooo jealous.

So everybody's happy, which means I can unclench for a while. Which is a good thing as I have hella muscle tension in my neck right now. Meds only do so much; I'm going through so much Ben Gay I ought to buy stock. On top of everything else this sucks moose ass.

Got an 'A' on the A.B. Psych midterm, so everything's on course regarding that. Lots of things to wrap up before leaving LaGuardia and heading to Hunter. Starting them now, as to not be bogged down with details later. More on this - I'm sure.
