Like, Reboot

So I dropped the stats class until next semester; I feel it's already paid off in the extra attention I can give to the remaining 3 classes. We'll see.

I dropped Microsoft Internet Explorer for Firefox. No complaints so far. While it's never easy to switch, I find that the security and flash/popup/othercrap prevention is worth it..

Crazy Lady (aka Mom) has been diagnosed with senile dementia. Yay. Not only that, but years before the average senior citizen gets it. Appears to be from her sedentary lifestyle. She never gets up for physical therapy anymore nor does she go to any of the activities in the recreation room. When they press her on this, she blames her lack of interest on pains that are never in the same place twice and appear to stop when she's left alone.

Bubba is still the sweetheart. Unfortunately, I'm a rotten father and have gotten him addicted to GameCube because I wanted him off the computer. Now he sits in his room after school playing Super Smash Brothers Melee and Mario Kart Double Dash. Sure, he loves it but I've got to do better limiting his time on it and read to him more. If only I wasn't so achy all the time and wanting to lie down...

Speaking of which I guess it's time for bed. Not that I don't get enough sleep: I must be unconscious around 14-15 hours a day. That ain't good, but until I can find a way to fix my spine permanently it's better than being up and dealing with it, painkillers or no painkillers.

The Mrs. & I are still going on well. Fingers crossed that this is the norm now. Going to look for a carnival to take them all to. Also, probably ought to finish at least one book (Writing it, that is. I read plenty still). Damn this lethargy.
