Did You Know Some People Still Have Dot Matrix Printers?

Recently I heard one of these beheamoths spitting out paper and felt the familiar shiver: not quite scratching fingernails across a chalkboard, but close.

Been a while; let me bring you up to speed -

- Had a bit of a nasty surprise about 2 weeks ago when the ex-boyfriend of the Mrs., after 10 years, decides to knock on my door and ask if she's around. Didn't know who it was at first (why would I?), then the Mrs. comes up the hall from work and was surprised as well.
After a few minutes of chit-chat, he left. All the time it took everything I had not to lunge at him; I mean who does shit like this without calling first or writing? Afterwards spent several hours trying to convince myself NOT to call some old old friends to help me stick him in the back of a trunk in Bay Ridge. A lot of willpower that took, I'm here to tell you. Had to keep saying "think of your son" and whatnot.

Mother's day is Sunday. Got the Mrs. an herb garden. Hope she likes. Using the tax break check to buy Disney World tickets. Flying to Orlando at the end of July & staying with one of the brother in-laws in a timeshare. I really hope it's not going to get too wierd.

Kitchen sink's in bad shape. Nore money soon to be gone.

After the mess Koko made of the refi of the co-op, going to transfer title to me in a week or 2. Easier to get a refi when it's my name on the deed, so...

Saw 'Iron Man'. Good stuff.

Don't tell Bubba's mother, but I'm getting him a Wii for his birthday. I just can't deny that poor boy anything. Spoiled he may be, but I only have one son and I'm giving him everything I can.

Ta ta-ta
