Tried to post last week, but something was wrong with the site. Trying again today.
Okay, so it took this time. I'm ready to ramble.
Bubba's first year of school (even if it is pre-K) ends next week with a 'stepping up' ceremony. Although I'm sure it will be cute anf touching and all that I can't help but be reminded of the comment Mr. Incredible made about such ceremonies being meaningless. See the film if you want to know what I'm talking about.
Instead of calling and calling and hoping a Nintendo wii is available by Bubba's birthday, I went and got him his owm DS Lite, complete with Yoshi case and Mario Kart DS. Knowing him, he'll love it.
I've been thinking about neurotransmitters a lot lately; thier function and construction, to be precise. Also about synthetic peptides. And nanites. And how I might use them all for something - and I'm just in the initial stages of thought here - new and (dare I say it) extraordinary. Unfortunately I can't really speak about it here because of the possibility of idea theft (used to be paranoia but on the web it's all too real), but once I've published something on it I'm sure I can expand.
"Hulk" - okay movie. Not great.
"Happening" - bad. So bad I feel sorry for M. Knight.
"Sex & the City" - the Mrs. liked it, so I guess it's good.
Sighing, I sit back to enjoy "Death Race 2000" and "In Bruges".
