So this year, I made sure the hole was bigger and wider than the last one; less chance of fatal avalanches that way. Still got hassled by the Shore Patrol about it, but not before we got pretty deep. Next year, better gear and more effort. Kids who were digging another hole actually quit theirs and offered thier services to us! Outsourcing! Isn't life great when it's funny?
