Holy Shit: I'm Gonna Be 41!?!

Yep, that's they tell me (unless someone's switched birth certificates on me when I was a baby which isn't entirely out of the question as I - to this day - still don't believe the woman who claims to be my mother is). In about 48 hours, I will be 41. No more round, catagorically attractive numbers for me for a while. I think 45 is the next numerical milestone; "If you're 45 or older, you may qualify for...". Well, I can't tell you how much that thrills me.

Top it all off, I have an exam in Statistical Math on Tuesday as well. Guess which event is causing me the greater consternation. The race was close, though. But math is the winner, what with me trying to keep my GPA. One thing I found out is that the school dropped certain educational requirements for my successful transfer/graduation which means I no longer have to take Elementary Spanish and buy the $165.00 textbook that would have went along with it.

Bubba really went bugshit crazy today: we (the Mrs., Bubba & myself) went to look at some homes we couldn't afford, and his foot fetish resurfaced just in time for him to essentially attack the real estate agent. He tried to get her shoe off and bit her foot at least once that I know of. She said she didn't mind, that she found it cute. Uh-huh.

I am sooo tired. Even a nap earlier didn't do much.

The civil case is still an ongoing concern. The attorneys for the collection agency said they would contest any motion I made, I I came up with a doozy. Lucky for me it's got teeth; I can cite precedent and law regarding it. I don't know why the lawyer thought they could just sail on through without checking thier facts. Short version: I'm still confident I can beat the case (moreso actually with the city statute I found), it's only going to take longer now.

Happy October.
