Actually, that's just the best title I could come up with this weekend: I'm beat.
School: Group Dynamics, good; finally found my groove, which means I passed the midterm and now have a suitible method suite for leading my fellow group members towards an 'A' research paper. Only thing I'm resentful of is that I have to go to a conference next Saturday, and that means dressing "up". I hate that. Really.
Statistics, however, is another story. I'm struggling, and it's a combination of things that's causing my -er- hampering: lack of interest, conflicting textbook, easily upsettible professor. I mean, it's not like we don't have software that will do all this when I start my research and later open my practice, so unless I'm not seeing something I should, I'm wondering why. But not too hardly. I'm slow in this, but getting better and I'll manage to pass the class. Not too concerned about the grade (as long as it's not an 'F'), since my other grades can take one serious hit, and since it's not really in my field of expertise I'm sure it will be overlooked later on.
Home: Getting harder to keep myself preoccupied. Still experiencing writer's block (not this, stupid; this requires no effort). Only by having a deadline do I manage to get articles done for school paper. It's not as fun as I had initially thought it would be, though.
This is more school crap. I need to stop
So no new bookwork yet. Actually, we're getting an old upright piano and some other furniture from one of the Mrs.' old co-workers who's moving to Maryland, so maybe I'll learn me how to play some blues. What do I have to be blue about? Less than some, I'm sure, but more than others. On the bright side, she agrees to get rid of a lot of crap before the stuff's delivered. You don't know how much of a plus that is...
Bubba's great (as usual) but a little more hyper lately. Definately going to martial arts school soon. I found one where the first years are totally focused of discipline and respect. The kids don't get to promote unless thier parent's say so. I like that. The little booger's been hitting his mother too much lately, and saying 'sorry' seems to cause him pain.
Should do some painting. The wall kind, I mean. Especially since we're moving stuff out/in. Will think about that hard.
