If anyone actually reads this thing, sorry. I can't say I've been too busy or my internet connect was down or some other damn thing. I've just been too lazy to post.
Most nights before bed I'm playing Diablo II. Either that or watching T.V.. Tonight I've been doing the tele thing plus cleaning out my mother in-law's old bedroom. Yep, the Mrs. finally accepted the fact that she ain't gonna be coming back from where she is. That plus one of her brothers has decided, without notice, to stop paying her share of the mortgage. Since we're not running a Lola Shrine here, that means her stuff gets boxed up and/or thrown away. Obviously, I don't mean things like photos, religious items and other personal stuff but her old bed (Bubba's got his own, thank you very much), clothes she won't be using - which is all of them, considering she's in a hospital bed continuing to not move or speak after over a year. Shit, if she actually came out of it I'll be first in line at Lane Bryant buying her new clothes. Seriously. But I'm also betting that won't happen. And so, pack it up and ship it out.
So I'm getting this room ready for Bubba, who should be getting pretty sick of us and our snoring by now. Besides, we need to move some of the dressers and whatnot his clothes are in in there... you know, to make the bedroom more user-friendly. That, plus we need "alone time". This project will take a little time (electrical, paint, carpet at least)and obviously it'll only be worked on during the weekends. Still waiting on the renovation money for the whole place. Thankfully, the wait should be finally over soon, after the appraisal and some damn thing that needs to be signed by the co-op management company gets stamped & singed (for the low low price of $300) and both these docs get sent to the back. Can they make this stuff any more inconvienent?
Midterms are going well so far. Got an 'A' in Child Psych (like that was hard to guess), then another test Tuesday in World Music. I don't know how well I'll do on that or Approaches to Religion (that guy still hasn't given us a sylibus, so who knows when he'll give us a midterm). We shall see.
More when I've got it.
Lates.
